🔄 My Design Process

Every book is different, but the design journey follows a proven path. From first conversation to final files, I make sure you feel supported, informed, and excited at each step.

Step 1: 🔍 Consultation & Discovery

We begin with a conversation (via Zoom or phone) and an author questionnaire. This helps me understand your story, audience, and goals before I start designing.

Step 2: 📝 Market & Image Research

I study your genre, comparable titles, and visual trends to ensure your book looks fresh while fitting the market. I also explore imagery, illustration, and typography options.

Step 3: 🖼️ Concept Development

I create 6–8 initial cover concepts, exploring a range of directions. These are posted to a private online gallery where you can review them and share with trusted readers, colleagues, or friends for outside feedback.

Step 4: 🤝 Collaboration & Refinement

Based on your feedback, we revise, refine, and narrow the options until we arrive at the design you love. This stage is highly collaborative — your voice shapes the outcome.

Step 5: 📘📱 Final Cover & Assets

Once the final cover is approved, I prepare polished files for ebook and print (depending on your package). I also provide marketing and social media assets so you can begin promoting your book right away.

📅 Timeline

Most cover projects take 4–6 weeks from consultation to final design. Larger projects, such as full book packages with interior design, may take 6–10 weeks depending on complexity.
